NCBA ADOPTS LEGISLATIVE AGENDA; COWAN GARNERS CLE HONOR
In addition to developments from the winter meeting reported late last week in a special edition of e-bar, the NCBA Board of Governors adopted the legislative agenda for the upcoming session of the General Assembly which begins tomorrow. The Board of Governors recognized the numerous CLE contributions of Past-President Don Cowan by presenting him with the CLE Volunteer of the Year Award.

“UN”CONFERENCE PROMISES TO BE UNFORGETTABLE
The upcoming Law Practice Management Annual Meeting and “Un”conference should provide an unforgettable experience for program attendees, who will hear from two national speakers: law technology guru Robert J. IN MEMORIAM
Amy Rose Delp Byrd of Winston-Salem died Jan. 21 at the age of 30. A graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Law, she served as a public defender in Forsyth County from 2004-07. Her husband, Jones Pharr Byrd Jr., and his father, Jones Pharr Byrd of Asheville, are also attorneys and members of the NCBA.

E-BAR TWEAKS TEMPLATE; PLEASE LET US HEAR FROM YOU
Recent changes to the e-bar template have generated favorable feedback from a number of members. A few glitches, such as reduced point sizes and expanded column widths, have also been reported. The layout has been tweaked this week in an effort to address these problems.
