North Carolina Central University School of Law
The North Carolina Central University School of Law is located in Durham, North Carolina. The NCCU School of Law opened in 1940; the evening program started in 1981.
Raymond Pierce, the former U.S. Department of Education Deputy Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (1993-2000), has served as dean of the law school since 2005.
The North Carolina Central University School of Law was accredited by the American Bar Association in 1950.
Students attending the North Carolina Central University School of Law
are involved in the NCBA through our Law Student Division, which is free to join. Members of the Law Student Division enjoy benefits such as:

Student members are also invited to attend CLE programs for only $25, which includes materials as well as focused networking opportunities. Additional opportunities are provided through the Young Lawyers Division, including volunteer service with YLD committees.
