Ask-A-Lawyer Events Slated Feb. 21

Article Date: Friday, February 06, 2009

Written By: Russell Rawlings

On Saturday, Feb. 21, lawyers from local bar associations will hold public "Ask-A-Lawyer" events at six locations in North Carolina. During this event, individuals with questions about specific legal issues or the legal system in general will be able to talk with lawyers on a one-on-one basis.

All members of the general public are invited and encouraged to come to the event with any questions they may have. This is a public service of the North Carolina Bar Association and the local bar associations, provided at no cost to the public.

The locations and times of the events are listed below. Also listed are the local coordinators for each county. Media, volunteer lawyers, and members of the public can contact these persons directly for more information about the events.

For information about these events on a statewide level, contact Craig A. Taylor at 336-379-8651 (e-mail cat@crlaw.com). The local contact persons listed below would welcome opportunities to be interviewed or otherwise provide information to the public in the days prior to the event.
