Article Date: Friday, August 28, 2009
As a result of the recent recession, some businesses are experiencing financial difficulty.
Can I avoid bankruptcy? If not, should I liquidate or reorganize my business? What are the some of the tax implications to consider?
Come and listen to a panel of volunteer lawyers from NC LEAP (North Carolina Lawyers for Entrepreneurs Assistance Program) discuss whether bankruptcy is necessary along with foreclosure issues, reorganization issues, and tax implications for businesses that are considering filing for bankruptcy.
NC LEAP, a program of the North Carolina Bar Association and the NCBA Foundation, is the signature project of the NCBA’s Business Law and Corporate Counsel sections.
The sessions are free and open to the public.
