Statewide Service (4ALL Phone-In) Day March 6
Article Date: Sunday, February 01, 2009
Written By: Russell Rawlings
The Statewide Service (4ALL Phone-In) Day, held in conjunction with the 4ALL Campaign of the North Carolina Bar Association Foundation, will be held on Friday, March 6, 2009.
The date is especially easy to remember if you think in terms of 3-6-9. Online volunteer registration has been activated for this date and call centers have been confirmed for Charlotte (WBTV), Greensboro (WFMY and The Volunteer Center), Asheville (WLOS), Raleigh (WRAL) and Wilmington (Williams Mullen).
Four of the sites above in Charlotte, Greensboro, Wilmington and Asheville have graciously agreed to host call centers for the second year; the NCBA is also delighted to announce the addition of the Raleigh call center.
Volunteer attorneys from throughout North Carolina will provide free legal information to callers from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Judging from last year’s inaugural 4ALL Statewide Service Day, held on April 4, the phones will ring non-stop throughout the day.
