Lien/Bond Law Revision Committee Update Heard

Article Date: Tuesday, January 04, 2011

On Tuesday, Jan. 4, the Construction Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association held a “summit” for its members and members of the construction industry.

The purpose of the meeting was to bring together lawyers and non-lawyers, along with the leadership of the NCBA’s other sections and industry lobbyists, to hear a report by the Lien/Bond Law Revision Committee on the progress of efforts to draft proposed legislation to update Articles 2 and 3 of Chapter 44A (North Carolina General Statutes).
