Martin Brinkley Elected President-Elect
Martin H. Brinkley of Raleigh was
elected president-elect of the North Carolina Bar Association at the 2010 NCBA Annual Meeting in Wilmington. He will serve as the 117th president of the NCBA in 2011-12.
Keynote Speaker David Gergen
Durham native David Gergen is an acclaimed journalist and political commentator who served in the White House as adviser to Presidents Nikon, Ford, Reagan and Clinton. He currently serves as editor-at-large at U.S. News & World Report, as a senior political analyst for CNN and as a professor of public service and the director of the Center for Public Leadership at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

E. Osborne Ayscue, Jr. John J. Parker Award
E. Osborne Ozzie Ayscue Jr. was honored on Saturday, June 26, as the 33rd recipient of the North Carolina Bar Associations' highest honor, the Judge John J. Parker Award. The award was presented at the NCBA Annual Meeting in Wilmington by NCBA Past-President Charles Becton.
