Description:

The North Carolina AOC has begun a pilot program for eFiling specific case types in the state.  To participate in this program you must be trained. Only trained attorneys will be given an eFiling account number. Paralegals taking the training will receive an eFiling account number in the name of their supervising attorney(s).   

The NCBA is pleased to support the NCAOC and their eFiling vendor Tybera.  This training is approved for 1.0 hour CLE/CPE credit. 

The training will cover:     

• Case types approved for e-Filing
• Required technology
• How to request an account
• Preparing documents
• Creating a submission on a new or existing case
• Paying court fees online
• Receiving e-Notifications on filings   

eFiling account information:  

• Cost is $50 per attendee and includes one eFiling account. 
• Attorneys who register for the training as the primary registrant will receive 1.0 hour CLE credit and one eFiling account 

• Paralegals who register as the primary registrant will receive 1.0 hour CPE credit and one eFiling account for their attorney 
• Paralegals supporting more than one attorney may add their attorney(s) for an eFile account at an additional $50 per attorney (no CLE for the attorney not attending)

While any NC licensed attorney or paralegal may participate in the eFiling training webinar, eFiling accounts are only extended to attorneys who file in the Chowan, Davidson and/or Wake county. 

Live Webinars do not count against the NC State Bar 4-hour limit on computer-based CLE.
