NEWSPAPER URGES SENATE TO SCHEDULE CONRAD HEARING The Charlotte Observer has issued an editorial call on behalf of Judge Robert Conrad who was nominated last summer to a seat on the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. A former U.S. attorney, Conrad has served on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of N.C. since 2005 and as its chief judge since 2006.
