MEMBERS TO RECEIVE JUDICIAL PERFORMANCE EVALUATION SURVEYS Members should be on the lookout for their first judicial performance evaluation surveys, the culmination of two years of extensive study by the NCBA committees, the Board of Governors and the Executive Committee. The survey, communicated via e-mail in the coming month, seeks confidential evaluations of Superior and District Court judges before whom members have appeared. Access the link below for a letter from NCBA President Janet Ward Black outlining the details of this process; click here to review the Draft Report of the JPE Study Group that was adopted in October by the NCBA Board of Governors, and be sure to allow ample time for the large file to download. http://www.ncbar.org/download/ncba/jpeLetterToMembers.pdf
