VOLUNTEER ATTORNEYS READY TO GO; IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO HELP!
Some 500 N.C. attorneys are standing by to answer the phones Friday as the 4ALL Task Force makes final preparations for the statewide Public Service Day. More than 700 attorneys volunteered, far exceeding the number required to staff call centers from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Asheville, Cary, Charlotte, Greensboro, New Bern, Wilmington and Winston-Salem. Volunteers are reminded of excellent training materials accessible via the link below on the 4ALL Web site. And it’s never too late to help get the word out to the public. Click here to access the 4-4 Public Service Day flier; download, print, copy and distribute – or create a pdf and forward it to all of your contacts.

4-4 PUBLIC SERVICE DAY GENERATING POSITIVE COVERAGE STATEWIDE
When it comes to getting the word out, Winston-Salem attorney Mike Wells is second to none. In addition to hosting NCBA President Janet Ward Black this week on his local radio program, Wells also devoted his most recent column in the Winston-Salem Journal to promotion of the Public Service Day. Access the link below to view the column and click on the following news outlets to view a sampling of 4-4 coverage: Dunn Daily Record, Statesville Record & Landmark; The Business Journal; Peace and Justice Network of the Triad; and the Salisbury Post.
