In Memoriam: John B. Yorke

John B. Yorke, founding vice chair of the NCBA Corporate Counsel Section who later served as section chair in 1991-92, died Tuesday following a lengthy battle with cancer.
The 52-year-old Charlotte lawyer was a partner with Helms Mulliss Whicker; click here to access a tribute on the firm’s Web site.
A memorial service has been scheduled for Friday, July 20, at 2 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, 1412 Providence Road, Charlotte.
