Annual Meeting Accommodations Remain

A successful 2008 Annual Meeting for the North Carolina Bar Association in Atlantic Beach on June 19-22 is virtually guaranteed. The Sheraton Atlantic Beach Oceanfront Hotel, your annual meeting headquarters for the second time in three years, is booked to capacity. So is the Windjammer Inn.
But there are still a number of outstanding housing options for members to consider, most of which are nearby.
For your consideration, the NCBA offers the following options. Please book your rooms separately, and preferably in advance, of forthcoming NCBA Annual Meeting registration materials. Also, be sure to specify your NCBA connection.

The Palm Suites of Atlantic Beach is new to the NCBA’s Annual Meeting menu; it’s located at 602 W. Fort Macon Road near the heart of Atlantic Beach proper. Phone 800-972-3297 or local at 252-247-6400. Soundside nightly rates of $117 and $130 are offered and single-night reservations are accepted.

The Island Inn, completely remodeled in 2007, is located at 215 W. Fort Macon Road near the center of Atlantic Beach. Phone 252-726-3780. Rates of $90-135 are offered with a two-night minimum stay.
