Events
The NCBA sponsors many pro bono and public service events each month. In addition to single-day events, the NCBA sponsors ongoing volunteer opportunities to provide pro bono assistance to North Carolinians who need it most, including Lawyer on the Line, NC LEAP, Law-Related Education, the NC Cancer Pro Bono Legal Project, and section-specific projects. Keep your eyes open for a new pro bono initiatve serving our Veterans launching in late 2013!

Lawyer Referral Service
The Lawyer Referral Service provides attorney referrals across North Carolina to NCBA members and members of the public. Services are provided in English and Spanish. Click here or call 800-662-7660 today! (Please note, we do not provide referrals to pro bono/free lawyers).

Law-Related Education
Law-Related Education, which provides North Carolina teachers with access to People, Programs and Publications designed to accommodate law-related education. The Law-Related Education Department maintains partnership status with We The People, administered nationally by the Center for Civic Education under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Education. |
Local Bar Services
The Local Bar Services website is a central location for information that can assist local bars manage their organizations and support their diverse members needs. This website also supports the NCBA's Local Bar Services Committee which acts as an advisory committee for the NCBA's local bar services projects.

NC Leap
The North Carolina Lawyers for Entrepreneurs Assistance Program (NC LEAP) is a provider of business-related legal services to low-wealth entrepreneurs and business owners in North Carolina.

Publications
Publications, a wide array of pamphlets, handbooks and guides designed to assist citizens in dealing with various legal issues. The NCBA also provides an expansive "This is the Law" pamphlet program addressing specific legal areas.
