Statement of Purpose: To educate and empower North Carolina teachers, students and general public by providing civic and legal educational resources, programs and competitions.
Law-Related Education encompasses the educational outreach efforts of the North Carolina Bar Association. Conducted through the LRE Department under the direction of Diane Wright and the LRE Advisory Committee of the NCBA Foundation, the widely acclaimed public service initiative was launched by the NCBA in 1998.
The 2015-2016 Law-Related Education Advisory Committee kick-off meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 4 starting at 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at the NC Bar Center, Cary.

Become An LRE Partner
LRE Partners are the volunteers who represent the driving force behind Law-Related Education at the North Carolina Bar Association. NCBA members who volunteer to serve on the Law-Related Education Advisory Committee automatically become LRE Legal Professional Partners. Educators who serve on the committee as Affiliate members automatically become LRE Education Partners. Teachers and Community Connections requesting LRE speakers, programs or resources will be asked to register online to become an LRE Education or Community Partner.Learn More
