CHARLOTTE SCHOOL OF LAW HOSTS THIRD JUSTICE TEACHING INSTITUTE The NCBA’s third Justice Teaching Institute was conducted last week at the Charlotte School of Law. Thirty-four Justice Teaching Fellows completed the three-day program, which was administered by the NCBA Foundation’s Law-Related Education Department and the LRE Advisory Committee. The JTI, proposed by then-Chief Justice I. Beverly Lake Jr. in 2001, provides teachers with the information and background they need to better understand and convey the depth and breadth of the legal system to their students.
