Your Referrals, Our Business.
The North Carolina Lawyer Referral Service was founded in 1976 as a non-profit public service project of the North Carolina Bar Association. Since that time, the need for the Service has continued to grow, averaging about 2,100 referrals per month.
In 2007, LRS provided nearly 57,000 referrals to people needing North Carolina attorneys. Some of those people were referred to an attorney outside their county because 25% of North Carolina's counties don’t have LRS panel attorneys.

If you are a member of the NC Bar Association, are covered by professional liability insurance, in good standing with the Bar, and take pride in your profession, you are eligible for membership. The Lawyer Referral Service panel needs you.
