• November 19, 2009 - Free Legal Clinic for Small Business Owners
  Small business owners in the Belmont area are invited to attend a free clinic sponsored by NC LEAP and the Small Business Center at Gaston College.  Receive vital information on the effect your legal needs have on your growing business!  The clinic will be held at the Gaston College East Campus in Belmont, 7220 Wilkinson Blvd, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in Room 114A.  Space is limited.

• December 1, 2009 - Free Intellectual Property for Small Business Seminar
  Join NC LEAP and the Small Business Center at A-B Technical Community College for a free seminar on intellectual property.  Ideas have value and you have plenty.  You may be an inventor or not but your business still needs to know when to protect client lists, logos, slogans, written materials, recipes, business models etc.  In a world where intellect is income, everything you think could be worth protecting.  How much are you business thoughts worth?  This seminar will help you find out.  The seminar will be held at the Small Business Center on Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, Enka Campus, Candler, NC from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
