Julian H. Wright Jr.
Julian Wright practices with Robinson Bradshaw & Hinson PA, which he joined in 1993 following a clerkship under Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson III of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He has served the NCBA as chair of the Professionalism Committee and the Labor and Employment Law Section. He also served on the Public Service Advisory Committee and is a frequent CLE speaker. Wright has been honored as a recipient of the NCBA Citizen Lawyer Award and the NCBA YLD Pro Bono Service Award, as well as the Mecklenburg County Bar Pro Bono Service Award and the LANC-Charlotte Outstanding Individual Pro Bono Service Award.
Locally Wright has provided volunteer leadership to numerous organizations, including Freedom School Partners, Inc. (chair), Camp Grier BSA Camp (chair), Generation Nation, Inc. (formerly Kids Voting Mecklenburg, Inc., chair), Equity Committee, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (chair), Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Task Force on Time, Capital, and Resource Management, City of Charlotte Privatization and Competition Advisory Committee and Covenant Presbyterian Church (elder).
