Reid Phillips serves as managing partner of Brooks Pierce. He has practiced law for more than 40 years and been active in the NCBA throughout that time, serving as chair of the Strategic Planning and Emerging Trends Committee and the Young Lawyers Division. He received the NCBA’s Chief Justice I. Beverly Lake Jr. Public Service Award at the 2019 Annual Meeting, and is also a recent recipient of Leadership Greensboro’s Denise E. Maleska Leadership Service Award and the Greensboro Bar Association’s Distinguished Service Award.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Texas School of Law, Phillips has provided volunteer leadership to numerous causes, including the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, War Memorial Commission (Greensboro Coliseum Complex), LeBauer Park Steering Committee and the Greensboro Metropolitan YMCA.
