Disaster Legal Services Hotline: 1-833-242-3549

The Disaster Legal Services Hotline is a resource for residents living in FEMA-declared counties who have legal questions or needs in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence. Qualifying callers will be referred to a pro bono attorney for legal advice and counseling. The Hotline is available 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. NC Free Legal Answers

NC Free Legal Answers is a web-based pro bono program that expands public access to legal advice and information about non-criminal matters for low-income people. It allows financially eligible users to post civil legal questions for volunteer attorneys to answer free of charge. Go to
