2020 NCBA Annual Meeting Update — Save the Date: June 26, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
May 26, 2020
The 2020 NCBA Annual Meeting, originally scheduled for June 25–28, will not take place in Charlotte this year. North Carolina has moved into Phase 2 of the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions, which will run through at least Friday, June 26, 2020. Phase 2 limits mass gatherings to no more than 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors at event venues and conference centers. In response to these limits and our concern for the health and safety of our members, guests and employees, the Board of Governors has taken the necessary steps to enable us to convert the planned 2020 Annual Meeting in Charlotte into a digital Annual Meeting to be held on June 26.
The 2020 Annual Meeting and accompanying sessions (including the Chief Justice’s State of the Judiciary address and CLE) will be accessible to NCBA members at no charge. Information on the schedule of events and how to register will be provided soon. For those who have already registered for the Annual Meeting, registration fees will be refunded and the Marriott City Center will release reservations.
We are working to provide a meaningful Annual Meeting in this new format, and we hope that you will plan to join us on June 26 remotely from wherever you may be!
