About the Young Lawyers Division
The Young Lawyers Division is often referred to as the service arm of the NCBA because so many young lawyers are involved in a multitude of worthwhile projects and public service endeavors. YLD provides a pathway into both the legal profession and the North Carolina Bar Association, with countless opportunities to lead and serve. From Law Week to Wills for Heroes to Ask-A-Lawyer Day to the N.C. Legal Feeding Frenzy, not to mention dozens more initiatives, the NCBA YLD is recognized in North Carolina and nationally as exemplary organization powered by young lawyers for young lawyers.
