Health Law

The Health Law Section addresses legal issues related to health care including medical malpractice, health care provider regulation and health insurance, and provides an excellent opportunity to network with fellow health care attorneys. It is highly regarded for its involvement with and promotion of North Carolina’s Safe Haven Law for Infant Abandonment, and has been committed to educating the public about the existence of this law since its inception. Additionally, the Section promotes advance health care planning through its “A Gift To Your Family” initiative. The Section sponsors CLE programs and helps mold the association’s legislative agenda for presentation to the General Assembly.
