Advance Directives Clinics Scheduled Statewide

Advance Directives Clinics Scheduled Statewide

The difficult process of talking to loved ones about their future healthcare wishes is made easier by the Health Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association, which routinely schedules Advance Health Care Directives Clinics in conjunction with its ongoing initiative, A Gift to Your Family.

Several clinics are scheduled across the state in April, wherein attorneys will be joining with healthcare professionals to assist community participants in understanding and completing advance directives.

The clinics are free and may ultimately prove priceless to the individuals and families who take advantage of this special community service endeavor.

This volunteer opportunity is for any attorney who wants to help. While certainly helpful, no prior experience with advance directives is needed. We have created an optional online CLE to teach you the basics and there will be subject matter experts available to assist throughout the day.
