The WTP Summer Institute will be held on Saturday, July 19 - Friday, July 25, 2008 at PEACE College in Raleigh sponsored by NCBA Foundation's Law-Related Education Advisory Committee and the Center for Civic Education.

We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution N.C. Teacher Institute
The WTP Teacher Institute will be held on Monday, August 4 - Thursday, August 7, 2008 at James Madison's Montpelier sponsored by NCBA Foundation's Law-Related Education Advisory Committee with the Center for Civic Education & James Madison's Montpelier.
Twenty teachers will be accepted to attend this educational seminar and preference will be given to the following located in Winston-Salem/Forsyth, Davidson, Davie, Yadkin, Stokes, Surry, Rockingham and Guilford Counties.

Law Institute for Teachers (LIFT)
LIFT will be held on Monday, August 11 and Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the N.C. Bar Center in Cary sponsored by the NCBA Education Law Council, with its LIFT Committee and working in conjunction with the NCBAF Law-Related Education Advisory Committee.

We the People (WTP): The Citizen and The Constitution State Competition was held on Friday, March 7, 2008 at PEACE College in Raleigh.  Watch the video or  download the PowerPoint Presentation (61.2 MB).
Northwest Guilford High School won the State Competition and will represent North Carolina on National Finals to be held on May 3 - 5, 2008; semifinals in Arlington, Va., and final round on Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C.
Raleigh Charter High School & Fuquay Varina High School won Honorable Mention.

Eighth Grade & High School Student Law Career Spring Conference to be held on Friday, March 14, 2008 at Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, NC from 8:00 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. sponsored by the Minorities in the Profession Committee of the NCBA in cooperation with the NCBAF Law-Related Education Advisory Committee.
