Get Involved

The Real Property Section deals with numerous issues affecting real property practice in North Carolina. It drafts, monitors and comments on state and federal proposed legislation and regulations, monitors and comments on State Bar ethics inquiries, provides a variety of CLE programs, conducts consumer protection and authorized practice initiatives, hosts an active electronic discussion list, periodically updates and republishes its forms book and oversees NCBA copyrighted real property forms.

Members receive discounted CLE opportunities, access to a members-only online community forum and invitations to networking socials, panel discussions and Lunch & Learns. The section also offers practice-specific blogs, legislative and policy updates, ethics guidance and opportunities to engage in pro bono work, providing meaningful ways to grow professionally while supporting the broader legal community.
