Accommodations

The NCBA makes every effort to ensure a quality learning experience. If you have dietary restrictions or need special accommodations, please contact the CLE Department at [email protected] or 919.677.0561 at least one (1) week prior to the program start date.

Changes to Existing Registrations

Should an attendee need to cancel his or her registration to an In-Person Live, In-Person Replay, Live Webcast or Rebroadcast program, the cancellation request must be received by 9 a.m. ET one (1) week prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Any attendee requesting cancellation less than one week prior to the program will receive a refund, less a $75 administrative fee.

An attendee may choose to transfer his or her registration for a dated CLE program such as an In-Person Live, In-Person Replay, Live Webcast or Rebroadcast format of the same program only. A refund will be issued, and the new program format must be purchased. Transfer requests must be received by 9 a.m. ET one (1) business day prior to the program start date.

An attendee may further choose to substitute his or her registration to an In-Person Live, or In-Person Replay, Live Webcast or Rebroadcast program only. Substitution means sending another person to attend the program when the original registrant is unable to attend. Substitution requests must be received by 9 a.m. ET one (1) week prior to the program start date. The original registrant will receive a refund and the substituted person will be charged and may be assessed a different rate based on their NCBA membership classification.

Cancellation, transfer and substitution requests must be provided in writing by email at [email protected] or by calling 919.677.0561.

If an attendee misses any portion of a program, that portion is not subject to substitution, refund or transfer. After the live CLE program begins, you will have real-time access to only the program format for which you are registered – either In-Person or Live Webcast – and your registration cannot be switched. Except as provided herein, registrations, including on-demand registrations, cannot be canceled, substituted or transferred once purchased.

No-Shows

Anyone who is registered for a program, including Premier Pass holders, but does not check in, is considered a no-show. No-shows are not issued a refund, and Premier Pass holders will be assessed a $75 administrative fee . These registrants will receive access to the archived video footage, if applicable, and the digital materials, available for download, for up to 90 days from the program date in their CLE account, in full consideration of tuition paid. Archived video footage is not for CLE credit and may not be available for all programs.

Miscellaneous

The NCBA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs at any time. Should the Association cancel or reschedule a program, registrants may elect to receive a full refund or attend the newly scheduled program. Notifications regarding program changes will be sent to the email address on file. The NCBA is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred as a result of such cancellation or rescheduling.

Each attorney must maintain a record of his or her attendance for the NCSB Annual Report. CLE credit is reported by the NCBA only if a NCSB number is provided.

CLE credit is not available for archived video content. Archived video footage is offered solely for review purposes and is not a substitute for live attendance. Archived video footage is only made available to registrants after the attendee certificate of completion has been issued, which occurs approximately 2 weeks after the program.

For In-Person Replay programs in remote locations, if inclement weather is forecast for your area, please check local news listings or contact the location where your program is being held for closing information. NCBA programs will follow the work schedule of the hosting institution, to include delayed openings.

Attendance at NCBA events authorizes the NCBA to capture, use, and publish attendee’s image or voice for use in electronic, digital, and printed media and reproductions and visual and audio recordings.

Unless specified, spouses or guests are not eligible to attend NCBA CLE programs and activities without registering to attend.

Under this license, one user is permitted to access the electronic publication in the purchaser’s NCBA account for 90 days from the date of purchase or from the date on which access to the publication was otherwise provided by the NCBA. The publication may be downloaded and saved on multiple devices for personal use by the licensee only. Member E-library

Access to electronic content in the Member E-library is included with NCBA membership. The NCBA makes no claims as to the current applicability of any manuscripts available in the Member E-library. Manuscripts are provided for reference only, and members should research current law before applying information found in any manuscript to their practice or relying on said information when giving legal advice.
