2025 Citizen Lawyer Award: B. Ford Robertson
Ford Robertson serves as the Managing Partner of Kilpatrick’s Raleigh office.
Ford’s practice encompasses virtually all aspects of commercial real estate, with a focus on real estate development, investment, and leasing. He has helped negotiate and close commercial real estate transactions nationwide, including industrial, retail and office leasing, sale/leaseback transactions, condominium and mixed-use developments, joint venture formation, tax-free exchanges, and financing of commercial properties.
He is active in the Triangle community, serving and participating in a number of professional and community organizations, including currently serving as General Counsel on the Executive Committee of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, and on the Board of Directors of the Wake County Boys & Girls Clubs.
Ford grew up in Charlotte, graduated from the University of Virginia and Wake Forest University School of Law, and has lived and worked in Raleigh since 1999. He is married to his wife of 28 years Ashley, and has 3 grown children.
