Lakisha Chichester Attends First MIP Meeting of the Bar Year

Lakisha Chester, Paralegal Division Chair, attended the first Minorities in the Profession Committee meeting of the 2023-24 bar year on September 15. After a great lunch and fun icebreakers, the meeting kicked off under the leadership of Committee Co-Chair, Geneva Yourse. It was a wonderful meeting to begin a great year!

The Minorities in the Profession Committee (MIP) is dedicated to promoting an increased presence of minorities in the legal profession; the ongoing education of minorities in the legal profession; the betterment of life for those minorities in the legal profession; providing the public with quality information regarding issues of concern to minority lawyers; and educating the public about the contributions of North Carolina’s minority lawyers.
