Law Student Representative: Kelsey Greene

As an NCBA Law Student Representative, Kelsey Greene is eager to contribute her energy, ideas and enthusiasm to support the Association’s goals and to uphold the highest standards of the legal profession. Kelsey is a 2024-25 law student rep at Elon University School of Law and is interested in business law as her practice area of choice.

After graduating with her bachelor’s degree, Kelsey started working in upper management in a business setting. While working she found that she genuinely enjoyed the legal aspects of her role and wanted to expand on her knowledge at the time. Her thirst for education was an influential factor in her career and she feels she will never be satisfied if she is not continuously challenging herself. The experience she has gained in the legal aspects of business has been critical in guiding her ultimate career path of becoming a corporate attorney.

It is very common to have imposter syndrome, but remember that you are not alone, and that you’ve got this! You were accepted to law school for a reason, and you belong there just like anyone else in your class.

Kelsey believes the NCBA provides fun networking events that are engaging and helpful with not only connecting with new people but also with learning more about areas of interest from real attorneys. Students attending ABA-accredited law schools or provisionally accredited law schools are eligible for complimentary membership in the NCBA Law Student Division.
