Law Student Representative: Kerry Sullivan
The NCBA provides a chance for law students and lawyers in North Carolina to connect with each other and which can specifically help students gain insights into various areas of law. That’s why Kerry Sullivan decided to become an NCBA Law Student Representative at Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. Kerry believes the NCBA helps you learn how to enhance your skills and become the best lawyer you can be. Kerry is interested in exploring areas of civil litigation, specifically insurance and professional liability, and chose to pursue a law degree to work to improve the world, whether it is for a single individual or a larger group of people.
Don’t lose hope. Law school is undeniably challenging, but it’s likely that your classmates are experiencing similar difficulties. Always ask for help if you need it! Upperclassmen were once in your spot and can most likely offer advice. Establish a schedule for yourself that allows for a dedicated amount of time for studying and schoolwork, while also ensuring that you have time for personal activities.
The NCBA created the Law Student Division to help students develop their legal skills, to assist them in transitioning from legal education into the legal profession, and to provide positive, productive links between law students and the NCBA. Did you know students attending ABA-accredited law schools are eligible for complimentary membership in the Division? Learn more about opportunities available through the Division.
