Law Student Representative Application
Make an Impact — Become a Law Student Representative
The North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) is now accepting applications for Law Student Representatives at your school. This opportunity is open to 2L and 3L students.
NCBA Law Student Representatives (“Reps”) play a key role in connecting fellow law school students to the greater North Carolina legal community. Reps also help ensure law students are aware of opportunities, events, and resources available through the free NCBA student membership.
As a Rep, you will:
- Serve as a representative of the Law Student Division of the NCBA at your law school
- Connect law students with NCBA attorneys and leadership
- Collaborate with your school’s team of law student reps (as applicable) and NCBA leaders to plan, promote, and execute programs and tabling events
- Support initiatives that help students launch their legal careers
- Promote NCBA events and opportunities within your school
And it’s not all work—NCBA Reps gain early access to NCBA programs and social events, build relationships with legal professionals across the state, and are often considered for future leadership roles within the NCBA.
