Paralegal Division Membership Scholarship
The NCBA Paralegal Division recognizes that paralegals may face a variety of financial challenges throughout their careers. To increase access to the resources, community, and professional support offered by the NCBA, the Division has established a membership scholarship program. This scholarship is intended to assist those who may not otherwise be able to join the NCBA Paralegal Division.
What does the scholarship cover?
This scholarship covers the cost of basic membership dues ($99) in the NCBA Paralegal Division for the current bar year (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026).
Who is eligible for a scholarship?
To qualify for the NCBA Paralegal Division Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicant must currently reside in the state of North Carolina;
- Applicant must describe their financial circumstances and explain why a scholarship is necessary to support their NCBA membership; and
- Applicant should express an interest in participating in and contributing to the NCBA Paralegal Division community.
How do I apply for the scholarship?
Please complete the form below. Scholarship applications must be received by Friday, October 17, 2025. If the application is not received by then it will not be considered. We will notify you if your scholarship has been awarded by Friday, October 31, 2025. A limited number of scholarships are available.
What about confidentiality?
Although the Division may publicize the fact that scholarships have been awarded, and the number of scholarships so awarded, the individual identities of scholarship applicants shall remain strictly confidential and used solely for scholarship consideration.
