The Constitutional Rights & Responsibilities Section is committed to preserving and protecting rights guaranteed by the N.C. and U.S. constitutions, as well as educating its members, the practice and the public about these important documents. The section serves as a forum for attorneys in all practice areas interested in constitutional law, with one of its goals being to increase public awareness of the U.S. Constitution. It also sponsors CLE programs and helps mold NCBA’s legislative agenda for presentation to the General Assembly.
Members receive discounted CLE opportunities, access to a members-only online community forum and invitations to networking socials, panel discussions and Lunch & Learns. The section also offers practice-specific blogs, legislative and policy updates, ethics guidance and opportunities to engage in pro bono work, providing meaningful ways to grow professionally while supporting the broader legal community.
