International Practice Section

Get Involved

The International Practice Section serves as an educational, legislative and networking resource for practitioners engaged in cross-border issues and international affairs and organizes the NCBA international attorney exchange program. It reviews current developments in political and trade-related entities, monitors state and federal laws and regulations, and makes recommendations where appropriate. The section also sponsors CLE programs and helps mold NCBA’s legislative agenda for presentation to the General Assembly. Affiliate membership is open to nonlawyers active in the field.

Members receive discounted CLE opportunities, access to a members-only online community forum and invitations to networking socials, panel discussions and Lunch & Learns. The section also offers practice-specific blogs, legislative and policy updates, ethics guidance and opportunities to engage in pro bono work, providing meaningful ways to grow professionally while supporting the broader legal community.
