The Military & Veterans Law Section brings together NCBA members and affiliates with a special interest in military law or veteran-focused legal services. The section serves as a coordinating body for NCBA activities and initiatives affecting military personnel and veterans. It sponsors CLE training for practitioners, connects lawyers to veterans in need of legal assistance and serves as a liaison with public entities on veteran-related services and activities.
Members receive discounted CLE opportunities, access to a members-only online community forum and invitations to networking socials, panel discussions and Lunch & Learns. The section also offers practice-specific blogs, legislative and policy updates, ethics guidance and opportunities to engage in pro bono work, providing meaningful ways to grow professionally while supporting the broader legal community.
