The Privacy & Data Security Section serves lawyers who practice in privacy and data security law. It brings together NCBA members with a special interest in these areas and furthers the development of the law. Affiliate membership is open to nonlawyer professionals actively engaged in privacy and data security through product development, service provision, or teaching and research.
Members receive discounted CLE opportunities, access to a members-only online community forum and invitations to networking socials, panel discussions and Lunch & Learns. The section also offers practice-specific blogs, legislative and policy updates, ethics guidance and opportunities to engage in pro bono work, providing meaningful ways to grow professionally while supporting the broader legal community.
