Workers’ Compensation
The Workers’ Compensation Section represents the interests of both plaintiff and defense attorneys, and appoints a representative to meet periodically with the Industrial Commission to review issues of interest to member attorneys.
Affiliate membership in the Workers’ Compensation Section is offered to nonlawyer professionals who are involved in workers’ compensation law. Plaintiff and defense attorneys and the Industrial Commission are represented on the council. The Section sponsors CLE programs and services; provides members with a blog; and helps mold the NCBA’s legislative agenda for presentation to the General Assembly.
