Worker’s Compensation

Get Involved

The Workers’ Compensation Section represents the interests of plaintiff and defense attorneys and appoints a representative to meet periodically with the Industrial Commission to review issues affecting member attorneys. Affiliate membership is offered to non-lawyer professionals involved in workers’ compensation law. Plaintiff and defense attorneys and the Industrial Commission are represented on the council. The section sponsors CLE programs and helps shape NCBA’s legislative agenda for presentation to the General Assembly.

Members receive discounted CLE opportunities, access to a members-only online community forum and invitations to networking socials, panel discussions and Lunch & Learns. The section also offers practice-specific blogs, legislative and policy updates, ethics guidance and opportunities to engage in pro bono work, providing meaningful ways to grow professionally while supporting the broader legal community.
