Welcome to the Small Firm & Technology Section Page
The Small Firm & Technology Section offers resources for small firms, including solo attorneys, and all attorneys interested in starting and running a law practice. The resources focus on technology, human resources, financial management, client development and other important topics.
About the Small Firm & Technology Section
The Small Firm & Technology Section provides a variety of initiatives designed to enhance one’s practice and promote professionalism. The Section sponsors CLE programs (live and on demand); provides valuable information via the section’s Blog; produces monthly “Starting Out Solo” speakers (free to Section members); has an active listmanager available to all Section members; and helps mold the NCBA’s legislative agenda for the presentation to the General Assembly. Affiliate membership is open to non-lawyers who actively provide support services primarily to lawyers or law firms in North Carolina in technology, law practice administration, marketing, and related areas.
