2025 Hall of Fame Induction Class Announced
The next induction class of the Legal Practice Hall of Fame was announced at the 2025 NCBA Annual Meeting in Asheville. The announcement was made by outgoing President Kim Stogner during the Awards Dinner and Presidential Installation.
Induction will be held in conjunction with the fall meeting of the Senior Lawyers Division, which has solicited nominations and selected the inductees since the General Practice Hall of Fame was renamed in 2019.
This year’s inductees are:
- Glenn A. Barfield, Haithcock, Barfield, Hulse & King, Goldsboro
- Michael Begley, Begley Law Firm, Black Mountain
- Janet Ward Black, Ward Black Law, Greensboro
- William K. Davis, Bell, Davis & Pitt, Winston-Salem
- Dan McLawhorn, Daniel F. McLawhorn Law Office, Raleigh
- John L. (Jack) Pinnix, Allen & Pinnix, Raleigh
- Vasiliki (Celia) A. Pistolis, Legal Aid of North Carolina, Raleigh
- Donna Rascoe, Banks Law Firm, Raleigh
The Hall of Fame was established in 1989 by the NCBA General Practice Section and will include 202 members with the conclusion of this year’s ceremony (access list of all inductees).
