New Board Members, Officers Join NCBA Board of Governors
Seven new members of the NCBA Board of Governors were elected to three-year terms on Friday, June 26, at the 2026 NCBA Annual Meeting in Charlotte. Their election was made official during the Annual Meeting Business Meeting and Luncheon.
Newly elected board members who are beginning three-year terms on the Board of Governors in 2026-27 are:
- Elizabeth Arias (Womble Bond Dickinson, Raleigh)
- Jasmine McGhee (N.C. Department of Justice, Raleigh)
- Sidney A. Thomas (N.C. Office of the Commissioner of Banks, Raleigh)
- Robert H. Wall (Baker Donelson, Winston-Salem)
- Harrison Lord (Lord & Lindley, Charlotte)
- R. Lee Robertson (Robertson & Associates, Charlotte)
- Alexa Whiteside (WAM Entertainment Law, Mooresville)
Joining the new board members as they begin their service this year are five new vice presidents who were elected by the Board of Governors in April:
One-year terms:
- Justice Tamara Barringer (N.C. Supreme Court, Raleigh)
- Judge Stephan Futrell (N.C. Superior Court, Rockingham)
- Judge Diane Surgeon Greene (N.C. District Court, Lumberton)
- Dean Andy Klein (Wake Forest University School of Law, Winston-Salem)
Three-year term:
- Sandra M. Clark (Manning, Fulton & Skinner, Raleigh)
Completing the slate of new members of the NCBA Board of Governors, all of whom will serve on the North Carolina Bar Foundation Board of Directors, are:
- Brad Evans, president-elect, NCBA and NCBF (Ward and Smith, P.A., Greenville)
- Joe Williams, chair, Senior Lawyers Division (Joe Williams & Associates, Greensboro)
- Michele L. Livingstone, chair, Young Lawyers Division (Wilson Elser, Charlotte)
- Andrea M. Blosser, chair, Paralegal Division (Smith Anderson Blount Dorsett Mitchell & Jernigan LLP, Charlotte)
