Sarah White Named Distinguished Paralegal

Sarah L. White of Ragsdale Liggett in Raleigh has been honored by the North Carolina Bar Association and its Paralegal Division as the 2018 Distinguished Paralegal Award winner. The award was presented on Thursday, June 21, at the NCBA Annual Meeting Awards Dinner.

The Distinguished Paralegal Award recognizes the outstanding achievements, professionalism and contributions to the paralegal profession by a member of the NCBA Paralegal Division. The recipient of the award is a paralegal who has actively participated in paralegal activities including paralegal professional leadership, paralegal education, promotion of the paralegal profession and civic/community volunteering.

White received her undergraduate degree from East Carolina University and her paralegal degree from Meredith College.

Her nominators cited White’s judgment and leadership while recognizing her as a pivotal member of the firm’s litigation team. She is noted for her preparation, organization, attention to detail, and for her willingness to serve as mentor to other paralegals.

White grew up in Kinston, and throughout her career has volunteered with various charities, always with a focus on improving her community.
