Zoning, Planning & Land Use Scholarship

The Zoning, Planning and Land Use Section of the North Carolina Bar Association is pleased to announce that it will award up to (2) $1000 scholarships to unpaid interns working in a North Carolina government or public interest law department (i.e. State, Federal, City or County) during Summer 2023. Preference will be given to applicants interning in the field of zoning, planning, and land use law. Applicants must currently be enrolled in an American Bar Association accredited law school and must write a brief essay (100 word maximum) stating why they should receive the scholarship. By accepting the scholarship, recipients agree to write an article about their intern experience that may be printed in the Zoning, Planning and Land Use Section Newsletter.
