The Estate Planning & Fiduciary Law Section brings together attorneys engaging in estate planning and trust and estate administration, promoting public awareness of issues and the role of attorneys in these fields. It offers members opportunities to network with other estate planning attorneys and professionals involved in the estate planning process, such as bankers, financial institutions, clerks of court and CPAs. The section also has a “Joint Statement of Principles” with banks and financial institutions, works to resolve differences with CPAs engaging in “legal” transactions and publishes the Estate Administration Manual.
Members receive discounted CLE opportunities, access to a members-only online community forum and invitations to networking socials, panel discussions and Lunch & Learns. The section also offers legislative and policy updates, ethics guidance and opportunities to engage in pro bono work, providing meaningful ways to grow professionally while supporting the broader legal community.
