Lifetime Achievement and Service Award

The Lifetime Achievement and Service Award recognizes attorneys who have demonstrated outstanding professional work and exemplary reputation in tax matters and have provided extraordinary service to the Section, the legal profession and the public in endeavors relating to the field of tax law and the mission and activities of the Section.

Additional requirements and criteria:

  • The recipient of the Award must be nominated by a member in good standing of the NCBA (although the nominator need not be a member of the Tax Section).
  • The recipient of the Award must be a member in good standing of the NCBA Tax Section.
  • Nominations may be made posthumously for those who were members of the Tax Section.
  • Nominations will not carry over to the following year for consideration.

The award will be presented during the Tax Section Annual Meeting.
