May is NCBA Member Appreciation Month, an NCBA tradition where we celebrate our members through complimentary services and additional benefits throughout the month.

Member Event: Boxcar Takeover Greensboro on May 1
NCBA members are taking over Boxcar Greensboro. Test your skills at air hockey, skee-ball and classic arcade games. Registration includes 1 drink ticket and 10 tokens to get you started! Each member is permitted to bring one guest. Register here!
Member Event: Nature Walk at Lake Crabtree on May 4
Join fellow NCBA members for a guided nature walk at Lake Crabtree in Cary. We’ll meet in the parking lot of the Bar Center and then go on a short (about 45 minutes) walk on the greenway led by a nature guide from the Wake County Parks, Recreation and Open Space Division. Following the walk, members are invited to make a bag of granola at a “build your own granola” bar. This event is family-friendly and open to nature enthusiasts of all ages. Register here!
Member Event: NCBA Night at the Carolina Mudcats on May 4
Join fellow members for an evening of Carolina Mudcats baseball as they take on the Columbia Fireflies! Friends and family are welcome to attend. Tickets are $12 per person. There are a limited number of tickets, so register today!

The Center for Practice Management and Continuing Legal Education Department come together for this unique blend of professional development and educational programming. Join us on May 8-9 at the Bar Center in Cary and hear from special guest legal tech experts Paul Unger and Jim Calloway, along with all-star panelists from across the state, who provide time management and practice tips that you can immediately put into action.

Make your social media handles stand out with professional headshots taken in both Asheville and Cary. Having a professional headshot is a great way to market yourself and build your brand, but they’re expensive. NCBA brings you the opportunity to take a great professional headshot for free.
