Law Student Rep, Lauren Barnett, Co-Hosts Tabling Event at Wake Forest Law
Lauren Barnett promoted the NCBA and upcoming Law Student Division programs at Wake Forest University School of Law on September 20. Lauren worked with fellow NCBA Law Student Rep, Clare Magee, to host the first tabling event of the 2023-24 bar year! This event promoted the Grab a Coffee Program and NCBA membership to their peers. It was a great day to create connections between WFU Law students and the NCBA!
The Grab a Coffee Program is a networking opportunity that seeks to pair law students statewide with practicing attorneys based on their practice area(s) of interest. Participants can discuss topics such as the attorney’s path to their current employment, what the practice is like in the attorney’s current areas, and any general advice the attorney may have for the student.
