Lyndey BryantLyndey R. Z. Bryant of Adams and Reese LLP in Columbia, S.C., has joined the International Association of Defense Counsel, an “invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.” Bryant currently serves on the executive committee of the John Belton O’Neall American Inn of Court and as a member of the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association.

Monica WilsonMonica Wilson Dozier of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP in Charlotte has been named to the 2022 “40 Gators Under 40” list by the University of Florida Alumni Association. The list honors young alumni whose achievements positively impact their communities and professions. Dozier was recognized for her contributions to the energy sector and to the Charlotte community, where she provides pro bono work for local individuals and organizations through the Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy and Safe Alliance.

Judge James GaleJudge James L. Gale, former chief judge of the North Carolina Business Court, recently received the 2021-22 Leadership in the Law Award from Elon University School of Law. Considered the law school’s “top professional award for leadership,” Gale received the honor at an awards program hosted in Greensboro by North Carolina Lawyers Weekly. He served on the Business Court from 2011-21, including three years as chief judge.

Erna WombleErna Womble of Clearly Bespoke Strategies, Inc. in Winston-Salem was honored recently by the University of South Carolina School of Law as a 2022 recipient of the Compleat Lawyer Award. Established in 1992 by the University of South Carolina School of Law Alumni Council, the award is considered the law school’s “highest recognition of professional achievement and civic leadership.” Womble is a 1986 graduate of the law school and a retired Womble Bond Dickinson litigation partner.
