The Labor & Employment Law Section serves as a resource for lawyers involved in a broad spectrum of employment law representation and provides input on legislative and ethical matters affecting employers, employees and counsel. The section works to include an even number of plaintiffs and defense attorneys, plus representatives from various government entities, on its council. Members include attorneys representing management, employees and labor unions, plus in-house counsel and government representatives.
Members receive discounted CLE opportunities, access to a members-only online community forum and invitations to networking socials, panel discussions and Lunch & Learns. The section also offers practice-specific blogs, legislative and policy updates, ethics guidance and opportunities to engage in pro bono work, providing meaningful ways to grow professionally while supporting the broader legal community.
